Temple
If I only had one word to describe Temple (better known as Simon to his mum) it would be enthusiasm.
Pure, unbridled, enthusiasm.
He's as hyped about playing out now as when I first met him a few years back, playing as one half of local breaks duo The Shoe Shufflers.
Since then I've seen him strike out on his own, shake off the breaks tag and mutate into one of the tightest and most reliably crowd pleasing DJs around.
He regularly throws down epic two hour plus sets that incorporate anything from dubstep, garage, uk funky and juke with an ease that is, quite frankly, scary.
He's impressed crowds while warming up for renound beat technicians such as Joy Orbison, Roska, Mala, Oneman and Ben UFO and holds down a residency spot at AKA AKA ROAR! as well as regularly playing Big Fish at Life and nights at Audio, not to mention hosting a weekly radio show on NSR.fm every Thursday 8-9pm.
He can also boast to be one of the proudest members of the AKA Fam, repping the night hard and putting us all to shame, which, in a nutshell is why we love him; enthusiasm mixed with dedication, and a bucket load of skills behind the decks, quite simply, Temple is sick!!
