Sir Robert Bryson Hall II is a rapper that was born in Gaithersburg, Maryland, on January 22, 1990. Sir Robert Bryson Hall II has been using the stage name Logic since 2009. After being expelled from high school at the age of 16, Logic began to focus on starting a music career. Logic was nearly immediately successful in the hip-hop scene in Maryland. He was able to secure a spot opening for Method Man, Redman, Pitbull and Ludacris in 2009 despite being fairly unknown at the time. Logic released his first mixtape, "Young, Broke, and Infamous", in December 2010. Logic would start to gain some national attention after releasing his second mixtape, "Young Sinatra", in September 2011. Several high profile hip-hop websites began featuring Logic and his music, which helped his song "All I Do" reach over 1 million views on YouTube. After releasing his third mixtape, "Young Sinatra: Undeniable", Logic would go on his first US headlining tour. The success of his first three mixtapes would help Logic secure a record deal with Def Jam in April 2013. Logic would then release his fourth mixtape, "Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever", in May 2013. The mixtape would once again receive great reviews, and it would be downloaded over 100,000 times in its first day of release. After creating music for over five years, Logic would release his debut studio album, "Under Pressure", in October 2014. The album was able to garner stellar reviews from the critics, which would help "Under Pressure" peak at number four on the US music charts. The album would also hit number eight on the Canadian music charts. The success of the album allowed Logic make his national television debut on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" in November 2014.
