Highlife

HighLife was born July of 1986 in New Haven, Ct. Starting out as DjC in a local Hip hop group called FUBAR in 2000, HighLife knew he was destined for music at a young age. His first mixtape 'The Seeds', was released in 2007 and quickly became a local hit. Later, venturing into music production, beatmaking and DJing at night clubs and for local Hip Hop artists, and eventually opened up his own recording studio. Now in 2010, HighLife is a '1 man band' taking on every aspect of his music as the Artist, Producer, Engineer, and DJ. His style, blending Hip-Hop, and Rock with Underground Dance, Electro and Dubstep sets HighLife apart from the competition. But taking a strong influence from the mainstream as well makes HighLife a bit above the rest, as his music appeals to many walks of life. HighLife's newest project, 'Have a nice Trip' will be released fall of 2010, stay tuned..
