Atlantica
A new group of young men are emerging over the horizon, filled with a passion for Christ's work on the cross for the sins of the world and emanating a desire to create sounds that are not commonly created in this day and age.
This is ATLANTICA.
From their beginnings as the shattered remains of former musical endeavors to the now rising brotherhood, made up of Patrick Kiloran (vocals/song-writing), Michael Collette (drums), Jack Vondrachek (bass), Shane Schuster (guitar), Nathan Johnson (guitar), and the newly added Evan Clarke (keys), ATLANTICA is branching away from the typical hardcore and pop scene seen in the quiet state of Minnesota.
They are forming waves of sound all their own and are becoming a sought after name in the Midwest, having opened for such artists such as Superchick, Eleventyseven, Jamestown Story, Take Cover, Swimming With Dolphins, Rookie Of The Year, For All Those Sleeping, From First To Last, and many more.
However, ATLANTICA's goal is not to bring honor and fame to themselves but to the One who made the universe.
Front-man and song-writer, Patrick Kiloran says this: "We don't want to be prideful.
We want to become more humble.
Even as we rise in popularity and income, we want to maintain that Jesus Christ is Lord and is the only One who deserves praise." Jesus Christ is all that is important in this life.
He died to save those who would believe in His death on the cross as the redemptive act to cover all their sins.
This is what ATLANTICA stands for, and this is what they preach at every show.
They will not stop because this is life, death, and everything in between.
ATLANTICA's debut album, released on July 23, 2010, is the soundtrack to this life lived for Christ.
"TO LIVE AND DIE" is based on the book of Romans from the Bible.
Each of the 14 tracks lays out a different aspect of the Christian life for its listener; this can encourage the believer, or compel the lost to see the love of Jesus.
From the resounding and soul-searching building of the opening track, "Genesis", to the conviction of "The Judge", to the joy and faith of "Hope Shines Bright", to the intensity and passion of "The Slaves Are Freed, The Servants Are Hired", to the power and trust of "The Potter", to the excitement of "Love", and to the beauty and worship of "To Live And Die", this album will leave you thinking with your heart and seeing the glory of God's plan.
ATLANTICA loves every fan, every family member, every friend, every business partner, and the one God who has made all of this possible.
All glory be to the One who is, was, and ever will be!
